WHO WE ARE

Evidence & BEYOND is a locally rooted, globally engaged consultancy advancing evidence-informed solutions that strengthen systems and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities.

We partner with organisations, private sector actors, governments, and funders to ensure that evidence moves beyond reports and becomes a central part of how programmes are designed, implemented, and scaled

Our Experience

We bring deep experience supporting programmes and initiatives across multiple sectors, particularly in areas where evidence use is critical to achieving impact.

This includes:

  • Violence prevention and response
  • Parenting and family strengthening programmes
  • Child protection and social protection systems
  • Gender-based violence prevention and response
  • Programme design, monitoring, and evaluation across sectors

While we have strong expertise in these areas, our approach to evidence generation, research uptake, and evidence use is applicable across a wide range of sectors and contexts.

How We Work

Our work is collaborative, context-driven, and grounded in both practice-based knowledge and research evidence.

We work alongside partners to co-create solutions, test and refine approaches, and embed learning within systems to support long-term impact

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

Many organisations generate high-quality evidence. Fewer are able to ensure that it is consistently used to inform decisions.

Our work focuses on this critical gap. We specialise in research uptake, supporting partners to translate evidence into actionable insights and embed it within systems where decisions are made

We live this out through four commitments that guide our work:

Evidence Meets Practice

We bridge research and real-world practice, transforming frontline insights into strategies that inform policy, scale nationally, and deliver measurable impact.

Rooted in the Global South

We bring lived experience and context-specific insight, partnering with governments, UN agencies, donors, and frontline organizations across diverse settings.

Trusted Partnerships

Our collaborative approach amplifies local knowledge while applying global evidence, ensuring solutions that are relevant, credible, and sustainable.

Building Lasting Capacity

We strengthen systems and equip organizations with the skills and tools needed to achieve meaningful, long-term change.

OUR APPROACH

Our strength lies in how we work. We believe lasting change comes from co- creation with partners, not from top-down solutions. The illustration below shows the five core elements of our approach:

Together, these steps ensure our solutions are grounded in local realities, informed by lived expertise, and designed to create impact that endures.

Our Core Principles

Our work is guided by five fundamental principles that shape everything we do.

Ethical

We uphold the highest
ethical standards in all our
work.

Accountable

We take responsibility for
our commitments and
outcomes.

Curious

We approach challenges
with genuine curiosity and
openness,

Collaborative

We believe in the power of
partnership and co-creation.

Empowering

We strengthen local
capacity and leadership,

OUR TEAM

We are a team of researchers, practitioners, and advisors with extensive experience working across complex systems and sectors.

Our work brings together research, policy, and practice, enabling partners to navigate complexity and strengthen the impact of their programmes and investments.

Our Extended Network of Experts

We complement our core team with a trusted network of specialists, including researchers, evaluators, communications experts, and sector specialists. This allows us to bring together the right mix of expertise for each project, ensuring that our work is both technically strong and contextually grounded. This model enables us to remain agile while delivering high-quality, specialised support across diverse contexts.

Why Our Work Matters

Stronger evidence use leads to better decisions, more effective programmes, and more sustainable outcomes. By ensuring that evidence is accessible, understood, and applied, we support partners to move from intention to impact This allows us to bring together the right mix of expertise for each project, ensuring that our work is both technically strong and contextually grounded. This model enables us to remain agile while delivering high-quality, specialised support across diverse contexts.
