HOW WE WORK

At Evidence and BEYOND, how we work is as important as what we deliver. We partner with organisations, private sector actors, governments, and funders ensuring that evidence is understood, applied, and sustained within real-world systems. Our approach is collaborative, context-driven, and focused on ensuring that evidence leads to action and lasting impact. Our work follows a continuous cycle that connects knowledge, action, and continuous learning. This ensures that solutions are grounded in real-world experience, informed by evidence, and strengthened over time

1. Listen and Learn from Practice

We begin by working closely with partners and communities to understand their experiences, priorities, and context. We draw on practice-based knowledge and lived experience to ensure that all work is grounded in real-world realities and aligned with what matters most

2. Integrate Evidence and Learning

We bring together insights from practice with research evidence and learning from other contexts. This creates a more complete understanding of what works, for whom, and under what conditions, ensuring that decisions are informed by both local knowledge and broader evidence.

3. Co-create Evidence-informed Solutions

We work alongside partners to design programmes and interventions that are informed by multiple sources of knowledge. This co-creation process ensures that solutions are relevant, practical, and owned by those who will implement them

4. Test, Adapt, and Strengthen

We support partners to test interventions in real-world settings, assessing their feasibility, effectiveness, and relevance. Through continuous monitoring and learning, we help refine and strengthen approaches to ensure they remain responsive and effective

5. Embed and Sustain Evidence Use

We support the integration of evidence into systems, policies, and practice, ensuring that learning is sustained and continuously applied. This strengthens systems to adapt, improve, and use evidence to inform decisions over the long term.

Why This Matters

Our approach ensures that evidence does not remain in reports, but becomes part of how decisions are made and how systems function.

By combining practice-based knowledge, research evidence, and continuous learning, we support partners to move beyond short-term solutions and build approaches that are sustainable, scalable, and impactful.
